Bakugan Brawlers Pack

Bakugan Brawlers PackBaffled about Bakugan? Don’t worry, all is about to be revealed!

Bakugan Battle Brawlers is a Japanese animated TV series that’s probably best described as a fast and furious version of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh.

As you’re no doubt already aware, it’s proving to be pretty popular with kids (especially boys) aged 7-12. The story behind the series revolves around creatures called Bakugans, who are involved in a game and a battle against other Bakugans called Hal-G and Naga.

The Bakugans are controlled by the Battle Brawlers, a team of seven friends called Dan, Shun, Runo, Marucho, Julie, Alice, and Joe. When they find metal cards drifting down from the sky, the magnificent seven do all they can to learn more about the Bakugans.

The Bakugan Battle Pack was released this year as a TV tie-in. It’s a strategic card game for 2-4 players that consists of metal cards used with spring-loaded figures encased in cool little magnetic marbles. When thrown across the floor, these pop open to reveal Bakugan warriors.

The aim of the game is to gain possession of 3 of your opponent’s Gate cards. To do this, the Bakugan action figures must do battle, which can only happen when 2 of them pop open on the same Gate card. When this occurs, battle ensues and the winner takes his/her opponent’s card. The overall winner is the person whose Bakugan has the highest ‘G-Power’, and receives the honour of being ranked as No.1 in the Bakugan tournament league.

This game is set to top the Christmas gift charts and has just been selected as one of the UK Toy Retailer Association’s ‘dream dozen’ toys for 2009. To make sure you get hold of one, check stock and compare prices for some of the UK’s trusted retailers on this site.
